Thank you for an awesome first two weeks of June! We gathered together as a Leadership Team this past Saturday, and we are all incredibly excited to be leading such a great group of like-minded people who share in the pursuit of excellence. We get fired up to be doing such great things with great people! 

As we continue to refine our healthy habits, sometimes we fall off course. It’s easy to do when the end of the school year creeps up, schedules change and structure seems to fly out the door. 

Or better yet, what if it’s been YEARS since we ate right, exercised enough, and got outside with our family and friends. Maybe a baby (or two) got in the way, or a career took a front seat. What likely happened was that we kept saying, “l’ll start tomorrow.” “I’m doing a new program on Monday.” “After this project, I’ll meal prep.” “When the kids can do more, we will get outside more.”

But what if, instead, we started NOW. What if we “messed up the morning” but decided to clean it up in the afternoon. 

Make quarters out of your day, and begin again after morning, midday, afternoon, night. Begin again on the 10th, 20th and 30th of every month. Realign with your core values at the end of every month, quarter and year. Continue to revisit, revise and refresh, because we are human beings who continuously evolve, not robots who start over from beginning to end. 

Give yourself permission to make a “mistake” at any point during the day, but dial it back in with consistency again and again, in whatever ways are important to you. Where can you apply this to your current habits that need refining? Let us know if we can help you in any way. 

  • Schedule changes: 
    • Summertime 7:30am class time on Saturdays! We will try this class time in place of the 9:30am as the later class hasn’t been as popular, and we believe a lot of the early birds would prefer a 7:30am! Starts July 3. 
  • Extra Programming Tracks: In the SugarWOD app, you can now access three more tracks in addition to Harpoon at Home and Workout of the Day. These extra tracks are free to access through the end of June. Please take advantage of them, log your scores, share a snippet on social media and let us know how you like them. It’s a good way to test some of these tracks and help you reach your goals! We have StoneYeti, AirWolf & Velocity, all designed to supplement regular training at the gym. It is not designed to replace the regular intensity and consistency you put into regular class. Coming July 5, we are adding a Balata Specialty Class to the schedule 4:00-5:00pm. The Balata Specialty Class will be an additional workout class that caters to StoneYeti (+strength) or AirWolf (engine) — your choice on what you want to work on in that given hour. The class is coach-led and is included in the additional programming price add on (see below). The specialty tracks can also be done before or after class, or in open gym times. The outdoor workout mats are a great place to hit some of these pieces! 
    • Balata Specialty Track Add-ons: Starting July 1, we will be incorporating a bulk membership price for access to the additional programs. 
      • Unlimited membership + Balata Programming Track add-on: $200/month ($160+$40)
      • 3x per week + Balata Programming Track add-on: $170/month ($130+$40)
      • Punchcards who want additional access: $40 for Balata Programming Track add-on
