Active kids are happy kids.
Something new is coming to CrossFit Harpoon this fall — built for the youngest active humans in your life.
The truth nobody talks about.
Kids today are less active than any generation before them.
Not because they don't want to move — they do. Watch any five-year-old for five minutes, and you'll see it.
But somewhere between school, screens, and packed schedules, the movement disappears. And with it goes something else: the confidence, the resilience, the joy that comes from a body that knows what it can do.
We've seen this with our adult members for over a decade. The ones who thrive aren't just stronger — they're happier. More capable. More connected.
Active humans are happy humans.
And that starts earlier than most people think.
What we believe.
At CrossFit Harpoon, we've spent more than ten years helping adults in Southern Maine build bodies that work — for the trails, the beach days, the ski runs, and everything in between.
This fall, we're bringing that same philosophy to kids.
Not a sport. Not a competition. Not another thing on the schedule that feels like a chore.
Something that makes kids excited to move — and gives them a foundation they'll carry for the rest of their lives.
We're still building it. And we want to build it right.
Be the first to know.
We're putting together something special for kids this fall, and we'd love to share it with you as it comes together.

Built by people who live it.
Since 2013, CrossFit Harpoon has been the home gym for hundreds of families across York County. We're coaches, parents, and neighbors — people who believe that the active life isn't just for athletes. It's for everyone.
Located in the heart of Southern Maine, we're surrounded by trails, beaches, mountains, and everything else that makes this corner of the world worth exploring. We want your kids to grow up strong enough — and confident enough — to love all of it.
